Interesting how Boston.com re-tooled it…

Interesting how Boston.com re-tooled it’s middling search system. It began as a search tool for the entire website but did not return much in usage on investment. They then turned it loose on articles, providing related and extra content on-page. This worked much better for users. Part of the learning was that people want to and will continue to use Google.com for search, not your own website’s search.
