The bad news is that Purefold, Ridley Scott’s new stories set in the Blade Runner universe, could be a dumping ground for advertising. The good news is that the stories explore what it is to be human in the near future and brands, products and mega-corporations are very much part of that. More and more we define ourselves through brands and products. I hope that is the way Purefold plays out. §
