Let me get this straight. Microsoft pays News Corp (Murdoch Inc.) and other newspaper groups to block Google from indexing their sites (very simple and Google will respect it.) Are other search engines affected? Also, if I see a bit of news on the WSJ and blog about it and Google indexes my blog and people link through me then Google users still have a route. In fact Google could adopt that as a model; use blogs manually aggregating news to power Google News. Or Twitter. I just see far too many ways to get around this block, and Microsoft are paying for it.
