Interesting that some in the homosexual community wish to emphasise separation and difference through the creation of a GAY TLD. I wonder who will be first to register not.gay, closet.gay, straight.gay, parents.gay, church.gay and so on. I’m not sure this is a healthy development for the gay community.

Interesting that the Apple iPhone is the second most popular “camera” on Flickr. And it easily beats the next camera-phone, the Nokia N95 which takes better photos than the iPhone. And from what I can tell Flickr differentiates between the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G (no 3GS on the graphs, yet.) Together they would probably be the most popular camera on Flickr.

What Verizon are really saying is that net neutrality will limit their potential to profit from the internet. Don’t think they are fighting for your side in making it big off the net.

We Are Hunted just keep on innovating. You can even create your own “music charts” in a fairly easy manner. Here is a quick one I did up, nothing too tasteful now.

We Are Hunted have nice, simple play-list integration with Spotify. As in all “top ten” populist lists there is some crap but most of it is decent.

You can now tag people in photos on Flickr. Nice feature (I think Facebook does it too.)

This Windows 7 beats Harry Potter story is confusing. A $199 product, Windows 7, has grossed more than a $23 product, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. That is 8 times more per sale for Windows 7 than Harry Potter. What is the story exactly?

I don’t think Apple’s EXIF data differentiates between the first, second and third generation iPhones. The machine tagging at the phone level wasn’t happening last year when I did a few uploads on Flickr.

It is now. You can see iPhone 2G here (http://www.flickr.com/cameras/apple/iphone/), iPhone 3G photos here (http://www.flickr.com/cameras/apple/iphone_3g/) and iPhone 3GS photos (here http://www.flickr.com/cameras/apple/iphone_3gs/)
