Android needs a sexy phone and a sexy brand before it will sell well. 1 million units in 6 months is nothing to sneeze at but it is not a challenger to the iPhone at that volume. Someone give Android the phone it deserves, please. §

Just-Eat.ie is online food delivery to all the major cities in Ireland. Oh wait, Galway, check, Cork, check, Limerick, check, and Dublin, check. Waterford… No Waterford. Fifth largest city in Ireland and it isn’t even a dot on Just-Eat’s map. Dungarvan is listed in the South East though its one restaurant is “closed” on the site. §

Surely this “the rich are greener” article is missing one important fact; rich people consume more. It isn’t just your car and your home heating system that produce carbon and which the rich can afford to make greener. What about the Kiwis flown in from New Zealand. What about the consumption of laptops, mobile phones and giant TVs from factories. What about the carbon used in getting raw materials to build their mega-mansions. Fact is you can drive a Prius and you can use solar to power your 60″ TV but you still have produced more carbon in the production of those goods you consume than the African burning coal to keep himself warm and cook food. §

The Irish strategy has been to raise taxes and cut spending. The end result is billions in increased spending on the dole for all those put out of jobs by the taxes and spending cuts… §

Thanks for the feedback Paul. I’m aware Waterford has no coverage, but its on the list of cities to focus on over the next few months. If you or any of your readers have any suggestions on good restaurants for us to sign, suggest a restaurant via the site and I will send my guys out to visit them.

Thanks for the consideration James. Some decent restaurants in Waterford off the top of my head; Bellissimo, Sabai, Kambo and Lime Leaf. If I think of any more I’ll send on.

Hi Paul – since coming across this post we have since since signed 7 takeaways who offer delivery in Waterford City http://www.just-eat.ie/area/waterford-city. We plan to add more over the coming weeks and months. Thanks for your feedback.

Awesome, I love this service! Before I’ve always had to fumble with takeaway menus, but now its all online and in one place. I didn’t realize they were in Ireland too… I’ve only ordered delivery from my home in London.
Anyways, just a head’s up in case you didn’t know and you order often… there’s a £3 off voucher for any order off Just Eat… not sure if it works over in Ireland too, but give it a try and let me know!
