V is starting on Sky tonight. I had forgotten how good it was. Not quite as terrifying as it was to me as a kid but the peeling skin still gets to me though.

Hamilton is the first black F1 champion, right? Will Obama be the first black president of the United States of America? Will it come down to the final votes with McCain in the lead and then a dramatic Florida-inspired cock-up that pushes Obama into the lead? Stay tuned folks, Novemver 2008 could be a big month.

Did Timo Glock just take a dive or did his dry tyres cripple his last lap? Hamilton deserves the championship but that was a fishy last lap. Heart in mouth stuff. Massa was brilliant all year too, heart-breaking to see him crying.

ByLine is a good iPhone feed reader that syncs with your Google Reader account. Works well though it needs a “mark as unread” button.

GreenMeter is an iPhone app. that uses the accelerometer to measure your fuel consumption while driving. It looks great and I’ll be giving it a go over the weekend.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 is a good camera but I think it is just a stepping stone to a truly pocketable DSLR. The G1 is here to transition people down onto the next size without alienating those who want lots of controls. How about a Micro-Four Thirds sensor and lens mount in the LX3?
