Good talk on REST. “[your service] becomes part of the web instead of tunneling through it”

I used to wonder how smokers could justify paying so much for cigarettes. But you know, I don’t drink much but when I do the cost adds up in one or two evenings to match two or three weeks of a smokers budget. Most smokers I know don’t power through cigarettes at 1 every 5 minutes for hours on end.

And in other news Google adds a Privacy link and, surprise, surprise, nobody ever clicks it.

Obama is half-Kenyan but he is also half-African and as a South African that blows my mind. Africans have a continental brotherhood, we stand on the same African soil. I hope Obama goes on and breaks the chains of the past.

The presentation to Rob Levy seemed to go well. Couple “revenue” and IMS questions I couldn’t answer but otherwise good. Rob Levy is now managing director of LIG Ventures. LIG stands for Life Is Good which I thought was marvelous.

“That’s not change we can believe in” and a big cheese grin. John McCain is a horrid speaker. Seems a decent enough chap. Old though.
