That would be a finite number of feeds. I think it makes sense to think of it as person-centric (a feed for me) rather than a feed for a particular location. Me and my neighbour might be interested in different types of neighbourhood activities, for instance, or in being aware of the surrounding area to different radii

Of course, you’d have topics/tags for each items in these feeds allowing subscribers to filter.
The point of a geo-feed though is to serve information about a certain area so that overlap exists between subscribers. Personalisation is good but make it too personalised and the localisation becomes irrelevant.
Also while it would be finite the number would be very large. We could start with minutes of lat and long but easily scale up and down to cover larger or smaller areas.
